My First Tag!

Nichole sent me my first tag. I feel so hip to the blog! Haha.

10 years ago: I was 11 years old and in fifth grade at Sunset Elementary. My favorite thing in the world was to go Snow Canyon High's football games with my friend Sierra and pretend I was one of the cheerleaders. Ha ha. That dream didn't quite come true since i was like 5'7 in 8th grade. I also used to love to rollerblade and build forts in the field behind my house.
5 things on my to do list: 1. Get my classroom management plan done for school 2. Pay all this months bills. 3. Re-arrange my bedroom furniture. 4. Decide where to go for my birthday dinner on Thursday. I'm thinking steak. 5. Finish watching One Tree Hill with Eliza tomorrow morning.
5 snacks I enjoy: My dad's popcorn, juice of any kind, Twizzlers, ICE CREAM, and cinnamon bears.
5 places I've lived: St. George and Cedar City (good ol' SUU).
What would I do if I became a billionaire: Buy Daniel a Mustang, go on a shopping spree, go on a service safari to Africa, make sure my family is okay financially, SAVE!
Jobs I've had: Burger Bar, Pizza Factory, Sunset Elementary, and Community Ed.
5 things you don't know about me: I'm deathly afraid of deer dead or alive. I like to write poetry and short stories, I actually enjoy the taste of rocks, I didn't get the role of Annie in the play Annie when I was little, I crashed my first car before I even had a legal license, the only dogs I've ever had both had one eye.

Where is the baby?!

One of my best friends Sierra is having a baby any day now and I am so excited! She is my first friend to have a baby. It's going to be a little black baby so you know she's going to be cute! She is due tomorrow, April 1st, but I'm hoping that she'll hold out until my birthday on Thursday, the 3rd. We'll see!

Just another Thursday in the Education Program!

So this group of college students isn't your run of the mill group of college students! My cohort is amazing! They are all very smart and they all help me learn so much that professors couldn't.

Enough gooey stuff. We have so much fun together! This particular Thursday there was an activity involving eggs and Eliza and I randomly decided we would have an egg race. It was a blast and we were laughing so hard! (She won both times, we might have to have a rematch!)

Good News!!! Not what you're thinking!

K so this is something I'm excited about. I found out on Monday where I am going to be working and doing my student teaching next year! I am going to be in Mrs. Cowley's 5th grade classroom at Horizon Elementary. It's in Washington fields so not too far away. I am really excited because Mrs. Cowley was actually my third grade teacher. Funny huh? Well, it should be exciting. I start August 4th.

Easter!

This Easter weekend was pretty fun! We spent it up North with Daniel's family because our new baby niece Shae was getting blessed on Easter Sunday. So I attended two Easter Egg Hunts and we had a family picnic. We stayed at my brother Judd's house and it was fun to watch the boys wake up in the morning to their Easter baskets.

I have awesome in laws and Daniel's family is so fun to be with. I am posting a few pictures that will help tell the story a little better.
