Home, well apartment, Improvements

So I decided that if we are going to be in our apartment any longer then I had to make some changes. My mom had a great idea to do the background of cabinets red. So I buy foam board and spray paint it red. It looked hideous as you can see. Daniel was sweet enough to tell me the truth and to help me out with this little project of mine. We actually ended up making a few other changes to the apartment while we were at it so here are some pictures.

Daniel's #23

Monday was Daniel's 23rd birthday! He had a very busy birthday including basketball and breakfast with his friends at 6am then doing yard work for his uncle. After that we went swimming at the new Rec. Center in Washington and then to lunch at In N Out with friends, then to top it off we had a birthday party at his parent's house for him and his brother Jarod who's birthday was on the 23rd. It was a busy but good day. I love you Daniel! I hope you had a good birthday!

I'm proud to be a Bundy from Mt. Trumbull!

Every year on Memorial Day weekend my family makes the 2 hour, very dusty truck ride out to our family's ranch on the Arizona strip. This year was no exception and it was a blast, even though it rained most of the time. I was shocked because it's usually dry and dusty and oh so hot! The highlights of the trip were eating Dutch oven potatoes chalkfull of everything Daniel doesn't like (onions & mushrooms), watching the dogs fight during testimony meeting, losing miserably at Pinochle, and winning, well tying, in a foot race against my bro. Taylor's girlfriend Bethany. The important thing was that I got to see most of my dad's family and learn a little bit more about my Bundy heritage.

Thank goodness I don't have three kids!

I haven't updated our blog in a while and here is the reason why. All last week was spent watching my sister Jana's three kids while she and her husband went on a cruise. Don't worry - we were payed with a vacation also. Yes, we played the parents but I played the stay-at-home mom part, and not well may I add. It was fun doing things with them but hard getting thrown into that role so quickly. It was a good experience but I'm grateful it's over! So here's some pics to show how cute they were.

Hanna making funny faces.

Hunter ready for karate. I didn't know how to tie his belt, can ya tell?

Chloe just being her cute little self.

Last Day with Mr. Bateman's Class

I will miss these third graders! My dyad partner Danielle and I have been observing in this classroom for the past few months and have grown to love these kids. Look how funny they are!

Adios Genna!

One of my best friend's Genna is moving to Yellowstone on Sunday. Since we are all going to miss her Claudia, Chey, Sierra and I decided to have a little Girls Night on Friday at my apartment. My friend Sierra brought her new baby. She is so cute! It was fun to see everyone. P.S. Notice my hair. Yeah, it's black. Didn't mean for that to happen!

"The Great Race"

I have never been in a club before and this is why, you have to do dumb things like swim through a mud pit! It was The Great Race at the college and Daniel was sweet enough to take lots of pictures so I could see how ridiculous I looked.

Chloe's Birthday!

It was my nieces' 1st birthday on Wednesday. I can't believe she is so big! The pictures of her with her cake were too cute not to post.

Goodbye "Foofie"

My dog Bueferd died on April 13th. She was like 15 so it was bound to happen. I am posting a picture of her and Daniel so you can all see how cute she was, even though she only had one eye.

Something I have wanted for a while

So I don't know how many of you know this but there has been a One Tree Hill epidemic rolling through my classmates and friends. I watched it for a while, stopped, and now I'm back to it. It drives Daniel crazy! Anyway, I was really excited because I have wanted the three soundtrack CD's for a while but haven't had the money to buy all three and my friend Chey let me burn them. I have been listening to One Tree Hill every since. Thanks Chey. One Tree Hill Mondays at 8!
